1. National Call for NCCP CanSkate Learning Facilitators and NCCP CanSkate Master Learning
Facilitators

Skate Canada is currently seeking qualified and experienced candidates who are interested in becoming an NCCP CanSkate Learning Facilitator (LF) or NCCP CanSkate Master Learning
Facilitator (MLF) in their Section. All interested applicants including existing NCCP CanSkate LFs and MLFs must submit an application to be considered for a facilitator role in the revised CanSkate program.

2. Revised NCCP Certification Requirements!

Attention coaches who are working towards their Provincial Coach and/or Level 3 certification. To streamline certification requirements and align the certification requirements with the removal of competitive tests effective July 1, 2012 the Skate Canada Coaching Committee approved the removal of the competitive tests passed NCCP requirement for provincial and level 3 coaches. Effective February 1, 2012 coaches at these levels are no longer required to have skaters pass competitive tests as part of their certification.

The revised NCCP ISPC portfolios and can be found under coaching on Members Only. For updated Level 3 practical forms please email coaching&programs@skatecanada.ca.

Competitive Technical Update

The 2012-2013 Competitive Well Balanced Program is posted in Members Only under
Technical and Programs/CompetitiveSkate/. Information on Junior and Senior categories is announced by the ISU (www.isu.org).

Competition Restructure Regulation Changes

The Skate Canada Board of Directors approved revisions to the regulations of the Qualifying
Competition Handbook and Skate Canada Rule Book. These are posted in Members Only under Technical and Programs/Rules.
